Wildflowers rise through long grasses against a deep, atmospheric landscape, their delicate forms bringing moments of colour and light to the darker backdrop. There is a sense of movement through the work, as though the flowers are shifting gently across the landscape at dusk.
'Twilight Drift' is reverse painted onto Perspex, allowing the wildflowers to sit above the painted landscape and creating a unique sense of depth and subtle shadow.
Framed in a light timber frame with a natural oak veneer, measuring 63cm × 93cm including frame. Weight: 4.8kg.
